Harry Coumnas Believes that Living in Space is Not the Same as Living on Earth

Serving as the mission specialist, Harry Coumnas works to train pilots to fly shuttles and other mission specialists to handle the technical astronaut responsibilities. As an astronaut, he handles the countless tasks for life in space requires. He is highly specialized in planning missions including the activity of the crew and the management of food and drink supplies. Harry is also proficient in space station construction and making spacewalks. He trains hundreds of hours, using simulators that recreate the spaceflight environment.

He is an acclaimed scientist who believes that human body is designed to work with the pull of Earth’s gravity. He is highly curious to know whether living in space could be better than living on Earth. According to him, living in space is not the same as living on Earth. Astronaut’s bodies change in space while on earth our lower body and legs carry our weight. This helps keep our bones and muscles strong.

Currently, Harry Coumnas is leading a space settlement project being conducted by the International Interplanetary Society. He is also researching about life on Mars. As a noted astronomer, he is highly passionate and dedicated towards his work. Harry has been planning several missions where there will be a search for signs of alien life.
